The first clear thought that flitted through Jimin’s head was beautiful. Min Yoongi was beautiful, with skin white as sugar, eyes dark glinting crescents, lips pink and bowed, and the cutest button nose Jimin had ever seen. He was wearing a black hoodie, the hood rucked up against the back of his bleach blonde hair, sleeves of the sweater covering everything except his fingertips.
The second thought was crap, he hates me.
Jimin is trying to figure out how to stop having a crush, with little success. Probably because he’s not trying all that hard.
(or, in which Jimin is paired with grumpy, upperclassman Min Yoongi, whom he maybe definitely likes a lot more than is appropriate for a platonic class partnership)

“Jungkook, why were you kissing someone without knowing their name in the first place.” That comment is enough to have Jungkook’s eyes snap up to meet Jimin’s. His best friend looks genuinely worried, that always protective part of him that can’t help standing up for Jungkook even if the younger definitely doesn’t need him to do so for him.
“Jimin, stop judging me.” He wants to say he’s enough of a grown up to keep the whine out of his voice but. Truly, he’s not. “You’ve done worse.” The last part is whispered, but Jimin hears and responds with a shrug of his shoulders.
“Oh for sure honey, but it doesn’t mean you should as well.”
“Anyway, I’m gonna ask Jimin-ssi—he’s the sea witch—if he knows any magic that can help me go on land.”
If Hoseok’s reaction was one of surprise and suspicion, Jeongguk supposes he’d have to classify Yoongi’s reaction as—disappointed. He sees the way the human’s expression changes, eyebrows furrowing a little before his lips turn downward and he just. Stares at Jeongguk. There’s something in his eyes that tells Jeongguk he has a lot to say on the matter, but he’s trying to find the right way to say it that won’t hurt Jeongguk.
There’s a long, long bout of silence. And then Yoongi finally says—“I don’t think that’s a very good idea, Jeongguk.”
(or: a mermaid jeongguk & fisherman yoongi fic loosely based on disney’s the little mermaid)
The first time Jeongguk sees a ghost, he is four years old.
The first time he falls in love with one—that’s a different story.
(or: jeongguk has always been good at getting ghosts to the other side, until he meets one that he doesn’t know how to let go of.)
yoongi almost stumbles into someone’s back, staring as his string goes upward, suddenly, and he follows it with his eyes as he looks up up up and sees—a hoop suspended in mid air, high above the crowd, and a boy hanging from it by nothing but his feet. yoongi stops breathing as he watches, the boy swinging back and forth before he swings right off of the hoop, and the crowd gasps, and he swings a hand out instead, catching himself before he plummets to the ground below. he’s an acrobat.
yoongi’s red string is attached to the acrobat.
(or: yoongi goes to the magical circus, meets his soulmate, and learns that sometimes, home isn't a place at all.)
