Born and raised in Japan’s Red Light District, Ko Myoji had a set of rules she lived by to survive. These rules governed and dictated every aspect of her life from what she ate, to what she wore, to when she spoke. Thrust into UA, she comes to find what she called a way of life, others called ‘horrific and inhumane’. After all, the sex industry was no place for a child to live.
Heroes, classmates, and friends alike find that the more they try to help, the worse things became. The path to hell truly is paved with the best of intentions.

'You're a wizard, Harry' is easier to hear from a half-giant when you're eleven, rather than from some kids on a tube platform when you're seventeen and late for work.

When Midoriya Izuku is 13 years old, he is kidnapped on his way home from school by a villain.
One year later he is found and returned home with some scars, no memories of the events he went through, and a latent fire quirk.
Izuku has to live a double life if he and his loved ones are to survive, even if that means lying to everyone and committing deeds that he’s not sure the heroes would forgive him for. He just needs to come up with a plan to defeat one of the most powerful men in the world, maintain both of his covers in the presence of enemies and allies alike, and hopefully not forget the “real” him.
Bakugou Katsuki is certain that Izuku has been lying to everyone since the day he had been rescued. And he’s going to figure out his secret.
- Part 1 of The Dangerous Game

Midoriya Izuku had grown up bullied because he didn't have a quirk. Handled with kid's gloves because he also lacked a soulmate.
Told he could never be a hero by the person he look up to the most.
Filled with rage at everyone that had ever doubted him, he left to become something they wouldn't see coming, to get back at every single one of them for doubting him.
He left to become a villain.
NEW 2020/2021 update!: My god, I check back on this fic every once in a while and am always so shocked to find that people still look it at and read it nearly three years later. This was the first fic I ever wrote and I was only 14/15 when I did so, which means it's FAR from the best, so thank you to everyone who kept reading it anyhow! I'm currently preparing to start going through and editing all of the chapters as I get the chance. I mostly write dabihawks these days, so it'll be a bit challenging to go back and write for some of these characters, but I plan on doing it just the same! Afterwards, I plan to write a one shot for this as a sort of massive thank you to everyone who still reads it to this day.
Currently edited up until chapter 9

It’s easy to forget with his bright smiles and positive personality that Midoriya Izuku isn’t the living embodiment of sunshine.
Or: Moments when class 1-A and company notice that Izuku isn’t quite as pure as they think he is.
