Overwhelmed with anxiety and his fear of failing, Yuuri faces the issue of if he should continue skating. His best friend, Yuko, proposes a solution - if no one knows it's you, then it's less embarrassing, right? Yuuri begins to create a completely new disguise and persona.
But it works a little too well.
Before he knows it, Yuuri has become the biggest mystery of the skating world and everyone wants to know who he is. Especially Viktor Nikiforov, the idol he's been loosely basing his new persona on for years.

When Yuuri and Viktor wake up decades in the past, they don't know what to do. Does the other remember them, or are they doomed to try and recreate the relationship they were always meant to have?
Luckily that particular question is quickly answered and resolved, but even then, there are obstacles in their way. The most important? Yuuri is only 14 now, hardly a good age for them to announce a relationship between the two of them, even if they keep it age-appropriate. So for the time being, they'll have to try and settle for long-distance.
But it's hardly realistic to expect them to be able to react normally after their lives were completely messed up by this whole 'time travel' thing, and really, who can blame them for not being able to convincingly play the age (and maturity level) the rest of the world still expects of them?
NOTE: As those of you who read the original version of this story as I was posting it probably noticed, I really rushed through it. After coming up with a whole bunch of things that I wanted to add to it that would've stood out if I added them so late, I decided to try my hand at re-writing the whole thing. I'm going to try not to rush it so much this time. Enjoy!
- Part 1 of Turn Back the Clock
???: why the fuck are you ignoring viktor
Yuuri: Who is this? What are you talking about?
???: its yuri dumbass and you know exactly what i'm talking about
Yuuri blinks at that. For a split second he wonders if an angrier asshole version of himself from an alternate universe, someone who spelled their name wrong and snubbed his nose at basic rules of grammar, had somehow found a way to pester him while he tried to prevent, by studying, at least one aspect of his life from crumbling into utter ruin. Then the split second passes and Yuuri reins in the insanity long enough to venture a rational approach.
Yuuri: Yuri who?
Three seconds later his phone rings.
Two weeks after his failure at Sochi, Yuuri receives a text from a mysterious number asking why the fuck he’s ignoring Viktor. So begins Yuri Plisetsky’s all out campaign to get Yuuri to fucking finally text Viktor and end his torment of watching Viktor pine, and so begins Yuuri's descent into a wonderland of texting his idol, meeting his #1 fan(s), and slowly rebuilding his life with a little help from his friends.
Sometimes the hardest battle isn’t enough to change a heart, sometimes all the war and blood in the world isn’t enough to shift a single destiny.
Sometimes a simple touch is enough to break down the strongest of barriers, sometimes a single word is enough to make the world quake.
Sometimes the most reaching of changes comes in the form of a little boy sad enough, strong enough, and kind enough to make friends with a monster.
Sometimes one change makes waves.
Naruto has been hearing the rumbling growl in the back of his head for as long as he can remember. He’s seven when he tries to talk to it for the first time. He’s the dead last, the failure at everything, so he doesn’t actually expect to succeed.
And when he’s suddenly standing, knee deep in murky water and face to face with a demon, he has no idea what to expect.
As it turns out, the world could use something unexpected.
In which Naruto discovers the real meaning of the word monster, Sasuke discovers power and strength and learns the difference between them, and Sakura discovers that being herself is not as selfish as she thought.
Where Kakashi learns to fight again for what he loves, and Obito never stopped.
- Part 1 of Against the Sky
Sakura was ready to relax in the Pure Lands.
The world she knew was done with her.
The universe was not.
When Sakura wakes up in the body of a baby, the first thing she does is scream. When she wakes up and sees the crest of the Uchiha Clan above her crib, she throws a child-sized tantrum. When she wakes up and finds out she’s been born in the Warring States Period, with a twin brother no less, she stops crying and starts plotting.
Sometimes foresight comes in handy, other times not so much – especially when it catches the attention of a certain Clan Head.
