Summary
Written, slightly tongue in cheek, for those who aren't familiar with British English and her colloquialisms. I have no desire to provoke a 'who cares/I care' war about Americanisms in British fic or worry about spellings as we all write and spell what we feel comfortable with, but sometimes the sheer 'wrongness' in terms of what the characters say or do can spoil at plot point totally. For example, regular British police do not carry guns, would never have shot a suspect and would never be required to frequent a firing range during their work time. So, without further ado I present 'The A to Zed of Life with John, Sherlock and friends plus a few enemies'

Summary
This was a gift from my (adult) son for my birthday. Usually he draws me cartoons, which have often included Sherlock and John, but this time he wrote me something he titled 'Excellent Fanfiction' :-). Other than spacing it out for ease of reading this is exactly as he sent me. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Summary
Taken out of context, John Watson leads a terrifying life. You have to wonder what those poor women he dates thinks of it, especially if John decides to try keeping one away from Sherlock, and Sherlock decides that it'd be best if he could get rid of her. After all, Mycroft's taught him a thing or two about removing potential 'problems.'

In 6000 of living on Earth, the angel Aziraphale and the demon Crowley have met quite a few people. But when Aziraphale became friend with Charles Dickens in the 1850s, he couldn't know that it would change his life in a way no other friendships had ever done. The only souvenir he has kept of that time is a book, Dickens' most personal one: David Copperfield.
In another part of London, a famous detective is struggling to find a present for his best friend's birthay. Hopefully, Mrs Hudson is here to save the day.

Summary
Dwarrow are not over-fond of rain, Bilbo discovers. Neither are Hobbits much, for that matter, but Bilbo misses the sky, the smell of life in damp earth, the way the world melts into a colourless sea. Thorin finds him on one of the open-air balconies, face upturned to the rain, soaked to the bone. He laughs at Thorin’s bemused expression. He tugs the King out into the downpour until his skin too is slick with the storm, tucks his hands into Thorin's sodden cloak, and kisses the rain off his eyelashes until he smiles again.
