‘You wanted to go in there, didn’t you?’ Sonic nods his head towards the building behind Saitama. He can feel the HIMAWARI sign boring into the back of his unfairly exposed scalp. The sunflower, also. It seems like he might never be able to forget the existence of that sunflower. ‘You totally wanted to go in there.'
‘I didn’t want to go in there.'
‘I dare you to go in there.’
‘I WANT TO GO HOME,’ Saitama says loudly. There is silence. The sunflower is probably laughing.
‘I double dare you,’ Sonic says.
In which Genos takes up a part time job, Saitama is upset by purple aprons with sunflowers on them, and Sonic is a very tired supervillain. (Or, that one coffee shop AU now with 76% more cyborg baristas.)

Omg I love this the characters and their reactions and Saitama’s internal monologue are hilarious and sweet but the author still manages to keep it mild and understated and not the overblown saccharine fluff/angst/smut all over the place.
