“What does the flyer say?” Asui asks with a curious tilt of her head. “I didn’t receive one in my locker.”
“Same,” Todoroki says. “I didn’t see any loose papers or anything when I was over there.”
Tenya stops waving his hand. He pauses before answering. “I’m… not sure. I didn’t actually look to see what it says.” Tenya’s brow furrows. “Did you two really not receive any suspicious articles in your lockers this morning? Just me?”

Izuku has always held on to the fact that, somewhere out there, there’s someone just for him. He was quirkless, friendless, and (if his classmates were to be believed) useless. But at least he had a soulmate. Someone who would be able to love him despite all those things.
Shouto has always had conflicting feelings about his soulmate. On one hand, he knows what his mother tells him: that his soulmate is his other half, his best friend, someone out there just for him. On the other hand, his father has spent his entire life telling him that his soulmate would make him weak, that he doesn’t need anyone else to succeed.
