Summary

Or, in protecting Tissaia, Yennefer sacrifices her own eyesight. While Nenneke searches for a cure, Tissaia is treated for dimeritium poisoning, and it quickly becomes clear that the road to recovery will be a long one for both of them.

It was subtle at first. For the first several months, she assumed it was merely the stress of the war; for the next several months, she assumed it was the stress of the trials; then when winter approached, she assumed it was stress from school.
She kept assuming it was stress until she was walking to the cabinet to retrieve her supplies for Potions class and the walls began closing in, wobbling and swallowing her up.

Summary
It doesn’t help, the way Kara speaks Kryptonian. Nor the fact that Lena has spent the last hour concentrating on her mouth, the way she speaks, the way her tongue gauges out the centre of the words, the movement of her lips. It is so incredibly hot. She blinks at the realization but can’t seem to get rid of it once it has surfaced. It’s the way that Kara speaks, the tone of her voice so different, the guttural sound of the words.
Maybe the distraction of thinking about Kara’s mouth is what stops her from wondering how Kara speaks Kryptonian so well.
Or,
The one in which Kara tutors Lena in Kryptonian, and Lena flirts by showing off her impressive language skills.
