“Ahh, shh! Please, please go away puppy…!”
Eva gasped and ducked behind a spare truck. Someone was here, in the junkyard, and… and...
She peeked up through the truck door’s busted-out window into the clearing. A few yards away, Hoover was scrabbling at the front bumper of a car, barking maniacally upwards into a thick patch of shadows. The terrier’s untrimmed nails made ear-splitting noises on the rusted metal.
The offending shadows shifted, and Eva saw two huge, reflective white eyes materialize out of the night.
A nightwatch makes a late-night discovery, and Spidey is just trying to make friends wherever he can.

She strikes him with enough force to startle a nosy bear from the porch, but the intruder doesn’t even twitch, the broom assault only disturbing the invisible halo of frost on the still form’s costume.
Carefully, maybe more curiously this time, she prods him with the broom, rolling him over onto his back.
Spider-Man’s arm limply falls to the side.
A freak cold snap causes Spider-Man to fall into an impromptu deep sleep on a stranger's balcony, and a few caring souls help nurse him back to health.

Sometimes he likes to just sit and watch the city go by. The duties of being Spider-man don’t lend much time to simply stop, so he lets himself have a quiet moment now and again. Well, as quiet as it gets in the ‘city that never sleeps’.
