Lucy Preston meets the man of her dreams. She saves him from certain death, but the hospital won't let her see him. A nurse misunderstands a comment of Lucy's and thinks she's this man's fiancée. Lucy finds herself thrust into a precarious situation with the man's family. After getting to know the family a little bit, Lucy finds that she doesn't want out of this fake relationship. She's been alone for too long and cannot let go of this feeling of belonging. Things get even more complicated when she starts to fall for the man's brother.
