    Summary

In 1993, Gilderoy Lockhart points a stolen wand at Harry Potter and Ron Weasley with the intent to Obliviate them.

The wand doesn't backfire. Gilderoy's "discovery" of the Chamber of Secrets is a short-term success.

Other consequences are not short-term at all.

    Bookmarker's Notes

what (and who) would change if Harry could no longer remember anything that had happened after October 31, 1981? an alternate version of books 3-7 and onwards, told from Severus Snape's PoV.

everybody lives, nobody dies (mostly); also they reform the Wizarding world.

well-paced, engaging, entertaining. really excellent & insightful world-building/expansion.

Severus is primarily #no romo; the ensemble is very queer.

chapters 27-29 make a satisfying conclusion to the main plotline; 29 onward is a post-war epilogue/extrapolation and an almost imperceptible slow burn.
