Summary
Will Solace was ten years old when his life changed forever. Abruptly whisked away from his mom and their home in Texas, Will is brought to Camp Half-Blood where he learns he is a demigod. At Camp Half-Blood, Will meets new friends and siblings like Cecil Markowitz, Clarisse La Rue, Lee Fletcher, and Michael Yew. Everything seems amazing until a trip to Olympus changes everything. Magnus bounced his leg anxiously. “I guess? Uh, I just don’t really know what it means, right? Like, Alex is the only person that might understand what I’m talking about, but I can’t talk to him about it. I promised I would give him some space or whatever. So I guess I thought that maybe you might know more than me.”
“I’m not following you,” Annabeth said. She looked concerned. “Magnus, is everything okay?”
“I’m totally cool with it,” Magnus rambled on, ignoring her question. “Like, I know that much because it’s Alex, and Alex is… you know. Alex. And I’m absolutely great with that. I don’t mind either way. I just don’t know what that means for me. I don’t… I don’t know a lot about this stuff.”

Magnus is absolutely great with being kissed by Alex Fierro, but he's still a little confused and he really just needs to talk to his cousin.

Which doesn't bode well for the technology challenged, monster beacon demigods. Cue Chiron calling them back to Camp Half-Blood for online learning where they will be relatively safe. There's just one problem. They're demigods. And something always goes wrong when demigods are involved. Especially if one of them is Percy Jackson.

The events of Percy Jackson, Heroes of Olympus, and Trials of Apollo as told from the perspective of one Will Solace as he joins the demigod world and becomes wrapped up in the battles between demigods and monsters. Also including heartbreaking accounts of loss because Rick killed off a bunch of Apollo kids.
*Always Towards the Sun is being rewritten as Keep Your Face Always Towards the Sun, so you don't have to start with the first story. I'm just keeping it up because I spent basically a whole year on that story and it's not all bad.*

Again, he mutters, “What the fuck?” Because when Eleven had randomly said he’d be ‘blasted into a memory,’ he’d assumed it was metaphorical. Some random shit she’s just saying about her powers that he’s never understood. Not literally, to fucking November of 1983 of all places.
Finally, he remembers Nancy and Jonathan in the room. They’re both still frozen in shock, and he wonders how he didn’t see it as soon as he got there. Nancy looks like a deer caught in headlights, the towel wrapped around her shoulders clenched so tight he can see her knuckles white out even from behind the window. Jonathan’s normally half-lidded eyes are fully open. He can read him like an open book; can feel every sliver of embarrassment and jealousy and guilt radiating off of him.
Third time’s the charm. “Fuck me.” And he knocks on the window, putting on a sheepish smile.

"My girlfriend can move things with her mind, and THIS is unbelievable to you?"

On his way to find El, Mike can't help but wish he could go back in time and relive the moments when he had El by his side. When he was happy. The west coast weather combined with the stuffiness of the pizza van was enough to make him feel drowsy. When he woke up, the dry smell of the desert disappeared, replaced with the earthy musk of Hawkins.
He had gotten his wish, but one thing was wrong. He remembered this day vividly.
Today was the Battle of Starcourt.

But when she comes to, she’s in the rain in a forest, freezing, barefoot, and dressed in an XL Benny’s Burgers t-shirt, with a flashlight shining in her face.
Eleven didn’t bring Max back.
