Summary
Sometimes there are laws that are completely antiquated, and people kind of forget about them, but they are still technically in use. So anyway, crack idea: What if there was one that basically allows poly relationships to be legally recognized, as long as both partners sleep with the third party. Which would allow Arthur to solve the whole love affair arc without having to hurt anyone. It also opens the way to two equally amusing plots. One, where he and Lancelot actually hook up for the sake of legalities (and because they have been secretly wanting to), and another, where they just work together to fool the entire castle into thinking that they are sleeping together.

An old man comes into court asking Arthur to make a wish. Arthur thinks that he was sent there by his father who wants to test him, so he asks for magic to completely disappear from Camelot.
Two things he didn't count on: One, his wish actually comes true. Two, this hurts people he cares about, and some uncomfortable truths come up as a result.

Or: The concept of Eurus Holmes is great, love it, but the execution didn't make ANY sense, so I spent a little over three years fantasizing about how I would have done it. Meaning it's all set in my headversion of the Sherlock Holmes mythos, it is still the 18th century and everything is different. Set during the time when Wei Wuxian and the Wen refugees were living in the Burial Mounds:
Lan Wangji finds something in an old book that could be a solution to the "rogue cultivator who's to some extend possessed by resentful spirits and it will only get worse with time"-problem that Wei Wuxian is to the rest of the cultivation world.
Basically, around the time that that arc ended in disaster, I started wondering how to fix the whole past, and this is what I came up with.
