Summary
“A New Order” is a reader insert story that takes place at the same time as the show. It follows the Reader Character (aka The Senator of Chandrilla, an important member of the New Republic and wannabe Jedi) in her journey to understand the ways of The Force, a side of her she kept hidden for her entire life until she met Leia, and her journey to aid Luke in creating a new age of Jedi. Her mission is to utilize bounty targets placed by diehard imperialists on children who might be force sensitive and to bring them to the school to be trained by Luke. The first bounty she goes after happens to be the same one we see Mando/ Dyn accept in the first episode. yes it’s baby Yoda
It’s a long slow burn fic, with a good dose of enemies to lovers since the Senator grows to spite Dyn for the inconvenience he causes her, always two steps behind him, until she isn’t. Not to mention The Mandalorians and the Jedi don’t have the happiest history together.
