Little drabbles/one shots based on the original characters I've left behind for other works. Not really much to say about it, other than I can't leave them out. It gives me something to do while I work on my original novel and works out writer's block.
I will take requests.
She was trying to get away from her past. He was trying to protect her.
Elia James is a twenty eight year old woman with a dark past. After being murdered by someone she considered a friend, she is suddenly given a second chance at life; as an angel . With her bad attitude and empathy on show, she tries to decipher her new powers and past on her own, avoiding the "other side" as much as possible. But, in cliche fashion, her past is slowly catching up to her; and everyone Elia knew is in danger. Including one of the most infuriating men Elia has ever met.
John Constantine was just a guy trying to keep his friend Chas and new tag-a-long Zed safe from his constant run ins with paranormal; and it doesn't help when all he does is run his mouth. Anarchistic, cynical and a down right douchebag , he is the complete polar opposite to the young angel. But when their paths cross unexpectedly, it's up to this group of misfits to stop a powerful demon from tearing the world apart. That is, if Elia and Constantine don't kill each other first.
Cameron Haller needed to become something more. Especially after Rosa...Gotham is going down. The fear toxin is ready to blow. Batman can't deal with it alone. In comes a person is just as brutal as the Arkham Knight himself. Deathwish is what the criminals call her. She instils fear into the hearts of many. She sticks to the shadows. The bad guys of Gotham know there is something worse than Batman prowling around in the night. That danger is Deathwish. Nobody messes with her. Not even the Joker. She just goes around, doing her dirty job. Cleaning up a destroyed Gotham City. She works alone. That is until the Arkham Knight saves her life. And captures what remains of her heart.
The Young Justice team get a surprise when a mysterious girl is brought in by Bruce Wayne. They discover that she was the daughter of a Justice League member who died when she was a child. Ashlee Dener is now sixteen and cold hearted, and broken beyond repair. She helps the others and makes choices that shape the rest of her life. She constantly blames herself for her mother's death, which was a tragic accident.
Cue Dick Grayson.
He supports her though her rough times, even though it has been eight years.
With the rise of a villain who knows the new addition, Blaze, well the team must overcome their differences and work together to take him down. The race is on to find out how this villain knows her...
And what she finds out nearly tears her fledging life apart...
