"Shouto," Izuku said tugging the edge of his cloak. "It's been a while hasn't it."
"I-yes," He murmured. "Last time was at-"
"Blaviken," Izuku supplied as he stepped closer. "And what a week it was. When you swung that sword around to protect me-"
"I will never let anyone harm you," Shouto affirms. "Much less small-minded idiots hell-bent on killing every sorcerer they encounter."
"The butcher of Blaviken they called you," Izuku shook his head. "Melodramatic bunch aren't they."
"I don't mind," Shouto admits. "So long as it puts fear into anyone that even thinks to harm you."

A Beast lived in the Castle, it was well-known. A demon spewed by the shadows, a wretched being of evil that demanded a tribute each year. An Offering and a Name. Always both if the village was to be spared forever. Just an Offering if the village was to be spared another year.
Kuroko had always known the day would one day come when he would be presented as Offering. When he would pass the borders of the forest and the iron wrought gates. But when such a moment would occur, it would do so on his own terms.

“Are you in love with him?” There was a softness in Kacchan’s voice that Izuku ever rarely heard - in fact, the last time Kacchan spoke so gently and comfortingly was when they first came to Hogwarts and Izuku had been terrified of being a wizard. When he looked up, Kacchan stared at him unwaveringly, his eyes unguarded and the gruffness of his words gone.
(Was he? Was Izuku in love with Shouto?)
“Maybe,” Izuku muttered, hands trembling slightly and his heart even more so. “I… I don’t know.”
“He looks at you.”
“He looks at you,” Kacchan repeated, like he could hear Izuku’s inner question. “He always looks at you. In class, in the halls, at the field, when we’re eating. We’re surrounded by magic," Kacchan said, gesturing around them and the comforting feel of the Room of Requirement’s magic that gently surrounded them. “But all he can look at is you.”
Kacchan cracked a smile, small and a little toothy but somehow more charming than his wide grins. “Like you’re the most magical fuckin’ thing he can see.”

A man sits at the booth in the corner; he looks strange, done up in a suit and tie, in the middle of a noodle bar at twelve in the afternoon. There’s nothing about him that doesn’t stand out, from his two-toned hair to the heterochromia followed in his eyes, and sure, there’s a pretty terrifying scar covering a quarter of his face, but he pulls it off like no one’s business.
The place is relatively bursting, too, which means the guy purposely went out of his way to hunt for that empty booth - a blaring ‘leave me alone’ sign.
“He’s a regular,” Kaminari informs him. "But he’s intimidating as all hell. You don’t mind taking over for us, do you?”
“Of course not!” Izuku beams. “You just had to say.”
Izuku doesn't expect to be whammied by Saint Valentine's when he takes over his mother's restaurant.
