Basis: When Jack, Mark, and some other YouTuber friends were invited to test the latest in gaming technology, they thought they were in for an awesome experience.
But nothing could have been worse.
It's not just that the ten levels were hard to pass - darn ascending stairwells were frexing hard to find - but it seems that the Director heading the program had more . . . sinister intentions at hand. The game was much deadlier than thought.
And something went wrong when Jack uploaded.

Then he discovers Midoriya Izuku Wants To Be Friends, and then Aizawa-sensei assigns them together for rescue simulations in unstable buildings.
Of course, because it's Hitoshi's life, the building collapses, and somehow Midoriya seems more freaked out by being buried alive then he does. He wonders why that is...?
