Summary
“Well yippee for you then. Maybe I’m just so bad at sex that I am doomed to a life of celibacy.”
It’s at that moment that the door to the bathroom swings open and a person steps into view. There’s a blue cap on his head, and from the flustered expression on his face, it’s obvious that he had caught the last of the conversation. Donghyuck freezes, wanting to sink back into the bathtub, to become one with the ceramic.
Out of all the people to open the door, of course it had to be Mark fucking Lee.

Summary
“It’s a new thing,” he says. “I would be surprised if you did.”
There is no bitterness to his voice, just a simple acknowledgement that he wasn’t the closest to Jaemin out of all the members and vice versa. Jaemin picks his phone up again, probably expecting him to go back to his own room, but instead Mark takes a step towards the bed.
Luckily –or unluckily, really— Mark knew how to deal with insomnia.

Summary
Mark turns back to the lecture, tapping his pen against the paper, and Donghyuck is about to do the same when Mark bites his ring finger. It isn’t meant to be sexual, just one of his many habits, but it sends heat zinging up Donghyuck’s spine.
Before he knows it, an idea has popped into his head.
(In which Donghyuck and Mark attend a lecture but quickly find themselves distracted.)

Summary
The servant is arguably the prettiest boy he’s ever seen, his skin tanner than the rest of the villagers around him, his lips pillowy and pink. Mark has a vision of himself pressing kisses against them, running his fingers through his bronze hair, but then the general orders his execution.
(Alternatively, in order to save Donghyuck’s life, Mark pretends that he’s in dire need of a bed servant.)

Summary
“It won’t work,” the grim reaper responds, his lips pressed together. “I’ve been offered everything from firstborns to eternal devotion. It’ll be easier if you just accept that death is a part of life. That it’s something inevitable.”
Donghyuck tries to keep the scowl off his face.
“I bet none of them have ever offered you what you want the most in this world,” he says.
The reaper narrows his eyes.
“And what’s that?” he asks.
Donghyuck licks the blood off of his lips.
“Death.”
(Or: In order to evade death Donghyuck hires him as his bodyguard.)

Summary
In this vertical city of sharp rust and concrete hierarchy, Yangyang keeps a collection of moments that he wants to live in forever—Dejun geeking out about their bionic projects; Jaemin's look of adoration reserved only for his coffee; Renjun, Renjun, and more Renjun.
Somehow, an android that doesn't kill him on sight makes it into the collection.

Summary
Donghyuck’s body was not soft. But he had tried to be. He had shaped it so Mark could cup him in his hands and drink.
And Mark had destroyed that too.
How so like a boy.

Summary
"I’m glad you’re cool with it.” Johnny scrubbed the back of his neck. “With uh, the whole Hyuck situation.”
“Yep,” Mark finished lamely. “Cool.” Cool, cool, cool. Everything was cool. Mark was a big boy, he could hold it together, right? His best friend was in love, over-the-moon with it, his career a fast-growing cloud shadowing Mark’s pitiful patch of green—and Johnny deserved all of it. Even now, Johnny was a satellite gliding down a different orbit. Mark just wasn’t built to follow.

Summary
AO3 isn’t what Donghyuck expects.
Donghyuck’s got a long list of expectations when he first logs into the website.
And AO3 fails to meet a single item on that list.
(In which Mark tells Donghyuck he's an AO3 fanfic writer and Donghyuck decides to fully dive into fanfiction culture so he can leave the best comments on Mark's works.)
