On November 2nd, 1981, Archibald Harrison Potter was declared the Boy-Who-Lived. He grows up with anything he can ask for handed to him at the drop of a knut. But the real Savior of the Wizarding World lives in the cupboard under the stairs in Surrey, oblivious to magic. Until one day, she isn't. She is not the girl her parents and Dumbledore expect her to be.
This is basically all of my favorite tropes condensed. I'm working very hard to making ideas I love into my own. Features a Fem!Harry GWL who the country has forgotten, Slytherins being incredible, said GWL's twin being an absolute prat and a Dark Lord who's honestly not all that bad.
This is a rewrite of all of the books (eventually, this is just the first) and is MASSIVELY canon divergent. Updates will probably be irregular.

“I could be like Tracy Turnblad,” Peter says thoughtfully, “from Hairspray.”
“Hairspray?” Mr. Stark’s face twitches like he’s trying really hard to hold in a sneeze. Or maybe a deluge of sarcastic comments. “I thought you were studying really old—” Mr. Stark makes little air quotes with his index and middle fingers “— sci-fi movies to maintain your precocious teenage-vigilante aesthetic. What, you diversifying into old rom-com musicals now, Pete?”
“Hairspray isn’t that old, Mr. Stark,” Peter says, “I mean, Zefron was in it.”
“Zef— You mean Zac Efron? Kid, that’s—,” Mr. Stark shakes his head, lifts his hands as if he can ward off Peter’s words with his palms, stands up, and makes to leave the lounge. “You— Alright, movie night’s over. Get out of my house.”

Years after the events of Homecoming, Peter thought all of the bad memories were well and truly behind him. After all, so much has happened since then - and he's happy now. Everything is kinda perfect.
Turns out nothing stays buried.
By twenty-one Peter Parker had graduated college, scored himself a post-grad job and was a full-fledged member of the Avengers.
He had his own apartment, paid his own bills and juggled his time between being a superhero and working enough to cover his rent.
So long as Peter was armed with his ID, he was a full-fledged adult in the eyes of the law. Perhaps foolishly, he’d assumed it would make him an adult in the eyes of everybody else too.
Keen to be seen as worthy of Tony's heart, Peter enlists the help of his friends and the internet in courting his former mentor.

The path to self-discovery, including becoming Coulson's assistant-slash-liaison-slash-bff, Captain America's lady love, and rating fourth on the SHIELD BAMF scale, was like the yellow brick road; it was chaos and confusion around every bend.

In a world where Natasha Stark still dreams of fire and blood, the Winter Soldier wakes ahead of schedule and nothing happens the way it was meant to.
