Blasphemous in all the right ways, beautiful, meaningful, painful, perfect. This is imaginative and unique (one of a kind!) and utterly sublime.

    Summary

What if — what if Crowley weren’t a demon?

The idea wasn’t ridiculous at all. God’s capacity for forgiveness was infinite. If Crowley were sufficiently contrite (never mind that Aziraphale had never in four thousand years seen Crowley be contrite about anything), if Crowley asked God for forgiveness...might God not then return Crowley to the Heavenly Host?

Aziraphale’s chest went tight and heavy at the thought. Oh, how wonderful! A demon restored to grace! Crowley, safe in the light! Aziraphale clenched his hands together and prayed fervently.

It wasn’t until he actually bumped into Crowley again that he realised that an idea, no matter how glorious, is not in fact a plan.

Read this. You've read a million Ineffables Through The Ages. A million canon compliant takes on all the key points in the ep3 cold open. A million sexy Bastille romps. But none quite like this, with this sexy, soft, loving, MUTUAL experience throughout, no one pining, no one wondering. But a new twist of the knife, a very unique take on Aziraphale's blind devotion and faith. And what it feels like, finally, to accept and love someone for exactly who they are- an extension of loving yourself for exactly who you are. Read this. And the porn?? Easily, always, my favorite porn authors together? It's viscerally real and decadent. ♡♡♡♡

“You’ll have to show me,” Aziraphale said. “I’ve never done it before. I mean—I know the principle, of course, but given the life I lead, it never really comes into—”

“Aziraphale,” said Crowley patiently. “It’s very simple. You’ve smoked a cigarette. It’s the exact same process.”

I think I fell in love with this fandom officially because of this fic. Because anything is possible and it all feels so good. Also, I'm kind of surprised this is still the only getting-high fic I've read in the fandom.

    Summary

After an argument about Crowley taking care of a job for Aziraphale, an angel gets a demonstration of how exactly a demon can inspire religious ecstasy.

“Crowley, you can’t have given the woman an ecstatic episode,” Aziraphale said, trying for reasonable and hearing the hollow flatness of his own voice with a wince. “It calls for grace--”

“Oh, it does not,” Crowley snapped, throwing his arms wide and shaking his head. He wasn’t shouting, but it was a near thing, and Aziraphale could feel the way he wanted to shout almost as loud as if he’d gone ahead and done it. “It doesn’t, and you’d know it if you ever listened to a word out of my mouth.”

Can't even explain how beautiful and blunt and valid this whole masterpiece is.

    Summary

When it comes to falling from grace, Aziraphale would be lying if he said he hadn't expected something… different… than what it was.

He’d expected it, the Fall, he means, to be immediately and unquestionably painful.

He’d expected it hurt, to burn, to envelope him in agony as he careened a million light years across the cosmos, downward, towards the nether realms. What was the point of a punishment if you didn’t realize you were being punished in the moment? That was Heaven’s usual approach to that sort of business - or so Aziraphale thought.

Instead, the Fall itself was quick and painless. So quick he didn’t even have a chance to fully realize it was happening.

One moment, he was standing in the upper offices in front of the Archangels and the other Principalities, and in the next moment, he was waking up in a daze on the floor of his bookshop.

He doesn’t know what he expected - but it certainly wasn’t this.
