Summary
He had vanished. Lan Wangji had desperately scrambled together whatever news he could find of Wei Wuxian after his disappearance from Qiongqi Path, but could only learn that he and the Wen remnants never resurfaced. The world had gone on, and Lan Wangji was left to mourn a man that never has and never will belong to him.
Yet, here he was. A figure standing in Cloud Recesses' main hall, blood red silk cascading from his shoulders and pooling onto the dark wood of the floor. Behind him was a clan no one in the cultivation world had ever seen or heard of, all dressed in similar red and bearing looks of resentment towards the Lan clan.
His lips quirk into a wry smile, words dripping like venom from his tongue.
"I hear you've touched one of my disciples."
