Summary
A story of an alternate world where small changes long, long ago made a Ninja World of a somewhat different history and different and familiar people, unusual legends and heroes, and inhuman villains. Meet a young girl that tries to survive the endless wars.
She didn't want to die; didn't want to forget. She feared becoming a nobody. So then, wasn't it ironic that she would be reborn in the Warring States Period as the product of two clans. She might as well have just put a bull's eye on her back. Sakuya was likely to die as a nobody at best, hated and killed early at worst. Just another body in a sea of corpses.
If she truly wanted even a small chance of avoiding that fate, there was really only one option for her. Cheat, hack, abuse the universe, use whatever was at her disposal and fight for another day.
She was no hero, despite what her self-preservation had ended up causing.I will be posting this story on RoyalRoad.com as well as Quotev.

“Do you want to be a hero?”
Izuku blinks. Where did that question come from? It was so out of the blue that Izuku just feels confused now. “I can't,” he finally manages to say.
“Why not?”
Is Eraserhead stupid? Well, Izuku won’t actually ask him, but he’s tempted. It’s perfectly obvious why he can’t be a hero. “I’m deaf,” he points out.
“So is Present Mic.”
“I’m quirkless.”
“And?”
“What do you mean and? And nothing. Quirkless heroes don’t exist. Especially not deaf quirkless heroes,” Izuku says. He’s not sure why Aizawa isn’t understanding this.
Aizawa just sighs, shaking his head. Izuku thinks there must be some big thing he’s just not seeing for the underground hero to be reacting like this. “So be the first, problem child,” Aizawa finally says.(AKA: Bakugou's bullying goes a bit too far when Izuku is ten, so they move. He meets Hatsume, gets trained by Aizawa and Present Mic, and sets off to become the first ever quirkless hero)
