Summary
Ranboo’s just an ordinary guy, living in an ordinary world, living an ordinary life. Or is he? He wakes up one day, disorientated and confused. The last thing Ranboo remembered was the headlights of the truck driving towards him, but now he’s in a different world, where he’s a servant in a palace? But it’s not any world, but it’s the world of "Snowchester," a novel he read as a child. To make matters worse, "Snowchester" ends in tragedy - so many of Ranboo's favourite characters die! Determined to save the fates of his favourite characters, Ranboo embarks on a journey to change the original plot so everyone could have the happy ending that they rightfully deserved. Will Ranboo be able to save the day?

mom loved the night. his ceiling was covered with glow in the dark stars and planets. she had told him each of their names, and ranboo had repeated them until he fell asleep.
now he slept on his side, unable to look at the sky she created.
momma loved the snow. ranboo’s snow pants lay in the closet, untouched since he was fifteen. after he grew out of them, momma had promised to buy him new ones, so that they could continue to go out in the snow.

Summary
"Wow." Techno said in Common, the alien's disconcertingly human looking eyes blowing wide as they looked up at Ranboo. "Enders really are tall aren't they." They quickly tacked on the verbal emotional indicator that meant 'this is a compliment' because tone could get lost between accents or cultures. Ranboo appreciated it, as the Brawler had a very monotone manner of speech.
But still, Ranboo felt he was going to be getting that a lot. Humans, or 'Enders' as everyone else called them, had a reputation after all.

Or, Ranboo the ordinary human goes to work on a space craft full of a lot of quirky aliens.

Summary
“Hold still—” slender fingers tugged through secondaries, attempting to lay flat the anxious feathers. “Could you stop shaking? For maybe, two seconds??” Another tug through the clumped and matted feathers left the entirety of Ranboo’s left wing twitching out of his already loose grip, sending a scattering of black and white brittle feathers down onto the tiled floor of the bathroom.
As much as Ranboo wanted to yell or scream or cry in that moment, he forced himself to take a deep breath in, steading his shaking frame by leaning against the bathroom counter. All he had to do was remind himself that it was his fault he left his wings to preen in the morning rather than powering through the painful process the night before. He would be fine, he just had to calm himself down.
The white knuckle grip the 15 year old had on the counter top loosened as he finally brought his chin up to look in the mirror.
(in which everyone has wings and Ranboo finally makes some friends and gains some confidence)
