Summary
Aoko notices something strange with how Kaito and Hakuba-kun are interacting. Hakuba-kun can't seem to look at Kaito without a faint blush coming to his cheeks, and Kaito seems to be avoiding looking at Hakuba-kun altogether. Something clearly happened, and Aoko is going to get to the bottom of it!

Summary
It had been big news within the hero community and to the public when Endeavour’s youngest son, Shōto, disappeared after leaving a severe burn on Endeavour’s face. Quiet investigations into the household showed signs of abuse and neglect by Endeavour, solidified by interviews of the remainder of Endeavour’s children, who no longer remain silent now that their mother was dead.
( What the police never mentions to the public is the file of Endeavour’s abuse, documented by pictures of a stone-faced Shōto, showcasing the bruises and the burns littering his body and Todoroki Rei’s letters before her death ).
While no one could actually find Shōto after that, there had been more incidents like Endeavour’s that had happened – heroes or people respected in the community being burned on the face like a brand with the families detailing their horrific child and/or spousal abuse. In some ways, what Shōto is doing resonates with the heroes and police, especially considering his background, but the police and the heroes want to find him ( to help him, to save him ).
Perhaps even including his classmates in 1-a.

“You wouldn’t want your son to miss his bedtime, would you?” Hitoshi asks, unfazed.
“That’s none of your concern,” Endeavor spits out and the threads that were fading are dangling in front of Shinsou’s mind, brushing against his fingertips and becoming more solid. Easy within reach.
All he needs is to pull now.
“It kinda is,” Hitoshi says, flatly. His heart is pounding away in his chest, beating furiously against his ribcage like it can break through and fly away like a bird. His blood is rushing in his ears, heated and slurpy from the fire that steadily rises. “Considering you ruined my plausible deniability by shouting your son and me deaf in rage.”
Todoroki’s mouth drops a little open and the reaction would be hilarious on any other day. Normally, Hitoshi would smirk, smug over getting the drop on someone so collected and stoic with his words, but Endeavor’s face twists in outrage, his grip tightens.
And Todoroki winces.
Hitoshi doesn’t hesitate to pull the string. It snaps taut in his grip.
Endeavor’s expression goes blank.

Sero is losing his composure under his gym clothes and the kid who’d decimated him on live television is standing right there, probably feeling awkward as hell, and everything is coming to a burning point and spilling out of his eyes.
“Sero,” says Todoroki’s voice from much closer. He places a hand on Sero’s shoulder. “It’s fine. You can take your head, uh, out of your shirt.”
Or: Sero and Todoroki work towards healing after the Sports Festival. They both need it.
