These three haiku shine like rupees hidden in a patch of grass. They're marvelously evocative and will transport you into the worlds of the games as swiftly as a flying arrow.

This vertically scrolling single-panel illustration is a journey with a surprise at the end. Some things should probably stay buried forever... but aren’t you curious about what’s at the bottom of that picturesque little well?

This is, without a doubt, the finest "Princess Zelda in Termina" story I've read. It's delightfully eerie and contains a wealth of fascinating allusions to other worlds and times just barely glimpsed through a heavy atmosphere of mystery and dread.

It’s not necessary to have played Kentucky Route Zero to appreciate this story. In fact, I might even say that it’s a more cohesive and enjoyable experience than the game itself. If you’ve heard good things about Kentucky Route Zero but aren’t ready to commit to the sprawling mess of the game, this brilliant story captures its themes, tone, and characters perfectly. Long Journey Home stands on its own as a piece of fiction, and it’s an incredible read.
