Inuyasha was the best marshal Dippin' Springs had ever seen. Had an almost perfect record. The best of the best. When the law needed an outlaw caught, or a new wanted poster came through, Inuyasha was on it. Outlaws no one else could touch - all except, Inuyasha.
However...as good as Inuyasha was, there were still two problems that even the skilled hanyou couldn't handle. Two outlaws that managed to get away no matter who went after em'. And Inuyasha knew this. A blemish on what should have been a perfect record.
One, was Naraku - a ruthless, malicious killer. The other, known as 'The Roper' - a slippery looter who stole and robbed, but never killed his victims. And in order to get the first, Inuyasha realizes in order to catch an outlaw, he must also think like one. And so, he recruits the help of one outlaw to catch another, for they have a common enemy.
Submitted for Inuyasha Friday Prompts on Tumblr, inspired by the 3/19/2021 prompt - “Having the same enemy does not make us friends.”
Kagome Higurashi is returning from her trip by boat when she encounters a scared, frightened hanyou being forced onboard and thrown into a metal room. A dog-eared boy who seems to have never had a lick of kindness from anyone in his life. And Kagome cannot help but be intrigued by this poor hanyou boy.
When the ship sinks, Kagome finds herself stranded on and island, as well as the hanyou who seems to bolt whenever she gets too close. Can she earn his trust, and show him kindness he's never known? Can they survive together, and build an everlasting bond?

People always said that Inuyasha helped people with horse problems. But that was far from the truth. He helped horses with people problems. He could touch a horse, and know what it was feeling. He could step inside a corral with a wild, unapproachable horse and have it following him around within 5 minutes. He could get a horse inside a trailer, one that had never even been in a trailer before, without even touching it. Did amazing, incredible things to a horse without having anything on it.
One day, at his horsemanship clinic, he meets a woman and her daughter, and is asked for his help. And it's clear to the hanyou that Kagome and her horse share the same wound.

Inuyasha was the baddest mother-trucker to ever drive the highways. A speed demon, in a rig that looked about as outlandish as he did. They called him Speedball Yash.
No one had ever approached his title, or even come close. Until one day, upon entering a truck stop, Inuyasha is shocked to see that a driver from the same distribution center, who left at the same time, got there first. An hour before him. The name? K. Higurashi.
And nobody was gonna step on his title. And so, the rivalry begins.
A huge thank you to Fawn_Eyed_Girl, who helped me brainstorm on this one.
Inuyasha sat in his seat of the bush bi-plane, his brow furrowed in discontent.
He was supposed to be back at the office, getting ready to sign on the deal that would change his entire life.
Instead, he was across from the woman who was doing everything in her power to make sure that didn't fucking happen.
However, when the two find themselves stranded in the wilderness, they must work together if they are to survive. And there's a good chance they both won't make it out alive.
