Summary
Lena and Kara were young lovers on krypton, Lena was away on another planet when krypton exploded and Kara grew up on Earth thinking that Lena had died along with their planet.
But Lena had survived and followed Kara to earth but unlike Kara she didn't grow up somewhere safe, she grew up as a science experiment for the Luthors til she escaped to Ireland where she stayed til she decided to move to America.
Not long after moving to the states Lena accepts to do an interview for the first time with a reporter from the Daily Planet and his sidekick, Kara Zor-El.

Summary
“Are you going to keep staring at me all night?” the witch said, breaking Kara out of her reverie with a start.
They’d been silent for a few moments now, and she’d fallen into a trance that she would’ve sworn was witchcraft if she didn’t know any better. No, this bewitchment was of Kara’s own volition, enraptured by the woman’s alabaster skin and raven hair plastered to her face. The dark cloak she wore was black with water and seemed to swallow her, making her seem almost childish, playing dress-up in her mother’s clothes. The thought of a childhood so normal for the young witch made Kara startle slightly, blinking rain out of her eyes as she suppressed a shiver.
“Because, you know, if you want to kiss me, you may as well ask. The sun’s setting and it’s cold, and the hills are boring. So, by all means, get on with it.”
Kara choked on a splutter and felt her face warm with embarrassment, chasing away the edge of the cold wind. “I don’t want to kiss you! I’m here to- to slay you.”

Summary
Kara didn’t understand if they were visions from Odin or Loki, neither god showing their presence in these terrifying visions. Confusing visions of things that just didn’t make sense, injecting her into the body of someone else in a bloody world that was strange and alien full of fire and death. The worst part was when the crimson earth would fall out from under her feet and she would wake as she fell, drenched in cold sweat as her heart hammered painfully in her chest. These night terrors, these visions, had been haunting her for what felt like a lifetime. It was time to seek out help, and there was only one person who might be able to offer some sort of guidance.
