I can’t believe I got myself into a mess like this, again. I definitely should know better than to try to rescue the damsel in distress at this point. It never works out. Yet here I am, trapped on the roof of this department store, with a girl, with a sprained ankle and a bunch of walkers trying to break through the roof access door. Of course, there’s an access ladder on the other side of the building, but someone can barely walk, much less climb right now, so yeah, we’re stuck.

Summary
Sitting in her cruiser, Nicole wonders how she ended up down this road on her patrol. She pulls off onto the almost nonexistent shoulder and turns off her headlights, knowing that nobody else would be coming down here at this time of night. The road is a dead end, after all. She realizes she couldn't remember anything about how she got here. Had she driven here specifically, or had she just drifted along on her patrol? She can't remember anything about the last however long...
She should have been paying better attention, but every time she was alone her thoughts drifted back to Waverly.
