Summary
Daenerys Targaryen has taken King's Landing and crowned herself Queen (again). She turns her eyes to the rebellious North, where a bastard of the Usurper's wolf rules the survivors of the War of the Five Kings. There are rumors of monsters and death, but she knows better than to believe them. Still, it's preferable to parley first, and bring them back into the fold without further bloodshed.
King Jon Snow has battled the first White Walker assault. Now regrouping, he and his party receive an invitation from the Dragon Queen in the south, to meet outside the Twins for a parley. Jon has no intention of becoming another King Who Knelt, though he knows the White Walkers will return. Armed with the North's secret weapon and his newly-discovered identity, he takes his people south to meet with his aunt.
[NOTE: Parley will be Part SIX of the Aemon series. It's a little outdated, since it's four years old and I hadn't planned on a long series when I posted it. So I will be rewriting this, keeping it the same in spirit but adhering to the story I've created since then.]

Summary
A series of connected short stories set after ADWD/Season 6, with a mix of show and book elements. Jon, now King in the North, discovers his parentage and fights an ancient enemy. Daenerys arrives in Westeros, meets new allies, and battles for the right to rule the kingdom of her ancestors. Jaime Lannister seeks redemption and purpose, and the scattered Stark children return home, armed with new skills. Cersei struggles to keep her power, and the ancient orders of Westeros choose sides in the Game.
Features: all of the Starks warging, the Brotherhood Without Banners, Edric Dayne, Harrold Hardying, Robb's will, Howland Reed, the lost Targaryen swords, Sam at the Citadel, Nymeria's pack of wolves, and more, though it is mostly centered around Winterfell and the Wall.
You can also find the story on ff.net as one long fic rather than a series.
(This story is basically the things I wanted to see, but the show never delivered, woven into a novel-length plot. Like a decent Jon + Arya reunion, Jon accepting his Targaryen heritage but remaining a Stark at heart, a relevant secret in the crypts of Winterfell, Arya dealing with her trauma, Jon and Dany meeting as equals, and lots of Stark family feels.)

Summary
"Remember," Sansa whispers in Robb's ear. He holds her more tightly to his chest, sure she can feel his heartbeat nearly ready to bound out of it. "Remember what Father always says, and we can do this."
"Winter is coming?"
"Yes, that. And." He feels her take a deep breath, and he tries to commit the way her hair smells to memory. It may be a long time before he sees his dear sister again. "Songs live longer than kingdoms."
"Right," he whispers back, trying not to let his voice break. He finishes the adage. "But there will be plenty songs written about us."
...
In which Ned Stark realizes that with baby Jon alive, the war is not over, and conducts his household accordingly.
Or: In which Ned Stark trusts his wife and his family, and it changes everything.
There must always be a Stark in Winterfell, and if there cannot be, then they must at least be prepared. After all... winter is coming.
