Summary
Humankind and the Fae never really got along. Or maybe they did in the past, that time, however, is no longer. The feud started when, according to the human's side of the story- the fae kidnapped the king's only daughter, Princess Eliza. The prince of the fairies charmed her to fall in love and she left into the night, leaving in her place the cold season known as winter. Since then sorcery was banned, many people burned at the stake, not a pleasant history right? According to the fairies side of the story. The human king attempted to burn their lands, resulting in them freezing it. In an attempt to stop the warring kingdoms the prince and princess married to ally the kingdoms. The king of the humans grew angry and accused the fae of kidnapping his daughter. The fae, offended, moved their kingdom to a mountain steep and surrounded by forest. A mountain too dangerous to climb for anyone on foot. Though there were rumoured to be tunnels leading up through the mountain, they were not easily found and most likely guarded. And thus the two kingdoms stayed forever divided until one day 2 princes from either kingdom met in, unpleasant circumstances and eventually became more than just friends.
