    Bookmarker's Notes

This is a creatively conceived and beautifully executed, ACD inspired narrative. It gives us Holmes' POV, relating much that Watson left out of the publicly printed tales. We are drawn into the private world of two very private men. It's haunting and genuine and richly told.

If you are in the mood for some seasonally appropriate creepiness, this should fill the bill. Just like X files, but with the Baker Street boys as the UST laden, UFO chasing heros. Great fun!

    Bookmarker's Notes

A witty, genuine, queer friendly and ACD compliant incarnation of Holmes and Watson, with out all of the Sturm und Drang of the BBC version. If you need a respite from homophobic anxiety and self loathing, this is a great story, well told.

    Summary

If Sherlock could take John Watson back to his cave, he would keep him alive as long as possible. He would collect rain water and sea weed and fish to feed him, and he would keep him warm with his soft feathers. In return John Watson would answer all of Sherlock’s questions. Yes, Sherlock would keep him, his own little mystery to unravel. Eventually, though, the human would die, as they always did, and Sherlock would have to eat him, like he always did.

    This was much more interesting.

An imaginative mixture of historical and Sci Fi elements that explores questions of duty, honor and moral responsibility. It's a good romantic adventure as well!

A well written and interesting exploration of social mores and power dynamics and quite romantic also.
