Through Clint's big main window, you could see straight across the street and into the apartment opposite, where a man was standing, staring at Clint as if he couldn't believe what he was seeing. When he caught Clint's eye, he just shook his head slowly.
The guy in the apartment opposite spends way too much time watching Clint make a fool of himself, which wouldn't matter as much if he weren't also smoking hot.

Poe allowed himself one brief moment to imagine himself with Finn, to imagine what could be. Then, he let that moment go. Bright, young, future-lawyers don’t deserve to be weighed down by broken ex-pilots turned bakers with issues a mile long.
And that was all right.
Because Poe wasn’t lonely.

”Heyo, Gabriel Milton here. I won’t be picking up anytime soon - I’m out on Friday; need some damn strong fortification before the big holiday get together. My family…” There was a breathy shiver that had Sam’s breath catching - he uses to make Gabriel make sounds like that. ”It’s fucking insane. So I’ll be gone and avoiding the phone all Saturday and most of Sunday. Try Sunday afternoon. Until then, you know what to do.”
Gabriel paused again.
“P.S.: If this is Stanford, I still love you.”

“You’ve got war in your heart boy,” Howard sneers, “don’t ever try and pretend to be anything but what you are.”
Tony feels the familiar burn of a flower mark being etched into his skin but he doesn’t look, doesn’t try and check to see what it is. Instead he keeps his eyes on Howard and his hands cupped around his bleeding mouth and nose.
