"Finally, Ava was able to open a portal into Sara’s room. As she stepped through and looked up from her time courier, she immediately stopped, her eyes widening and jaw dropping. Leaning back against the headboard of her bed, Sara was casually lounging in one of Ava’s Time Bureau-issued blazers….And Sara was wearing ONLY the blazer along with a pair of skimpy black panties."
Ava hummed against her neck, the small vibrations sending shivers throughout Sara’s body. “My fingers?” She licked a path from the crook of her neck to just below her ear. “Or my tongue?”
While Sara would have been more than happy with either of those suggestions on a normal day, tonight she wanted something slightly different.
"She pursed her lips, weighing her options. Option one: she (reluctantly) sends Sara away and does her paperwork like the obedient time agent she is—or at least, is supposed to be. Option two: she ditches her work, takes Sara home, and they do everything Sara had described and more. And then she shows up for work the next day to an unhappy boss. Neither seemed completely ideal, so instead, Ava chose option three: have sex in her office right now and figure out the rest later."
“‘Cause, uh, I just wanted to…compare notes and I thought that maybe if you’d like to come to the ship then, uh…we could do that,” she finished lamely.
Ava gave her that same bashful smile she’d seen during their previous call. “And what? Have that glass of wine you were talking about earlier?”
AKA: Ava doesn't know Rip's escaped prison and actually comes over to drink wine with Sara.
