“I text you, ‘Had to postpone repairs to your suit. Will have it done soon.’ You reply… ‘NP, Mr. Stark. LMK when it’s done.’ And the week before that, you said ‘DAMHIKT but the suit is not resistant to skunk spray!’ with a -- what is that, a green alien emoji?”
“Uh, that’s a vomit emoji, actually,” Peter mumbled.
Tony raised a brow. “How tired are you from school and swinging around on your webs that your thumbs cannot handle complete words?”
“Sorry, Mr. Stark,” Peter replied, brows knit together and mouth pressed into a serious line. “I forget sometimes that old people struggle with acronyms.”

Even a year after Thanos' defeat, Peter occasionally struggles with sleeplessness and nightmares. When Tony tries to comfort him, they both end up falling asleep on the couch.
Peter sat on the edge of the leather couch, head between his knees and fingers laced against the back of his head. Tony gently eased down beside him; the moment his arm wrapped around the boy’s back, Peter sat up and fell into Tony’s side, shoulders hunching inward as his nose pushed into the man’s collar.

Peter never expected to fall for the first man to flirt with him. And he definitely didn't expect to fall for a gun-slinging mercenary Tony outright forbade him from speaking to.
It turned out Tony Stark was determined to keep Peter a virgin. Forever.
Whenever Deadpool showed up to a fight (and those occurrences were coincidentally increasing), Tony found a way to keep them separated. And Peter, for the life of him, didn’t understand why. Yes, the man was crude and brash. He swung his katanas a little too carelessly, and had absolutely no qualms about his own limbs being sliced or hacked or blown apart. But he fought for the good guys, and that made him a good guy in Peter’s eyes.
