“Shit.” Annie cursed again, turning to meet surprised grey eyes as Mikasa realized that she would have to wait. “Sorry, Mikasa, I spilled coffee all over my work clothes.”
Mikasa shook her head and moved to place her basket on the table next to the machines. It was then that Annie noticed what she was wearing. Her shirt was very obviously tighter than something Mikasa would usually wear, clinging to her sizable chest and well-toned arms and stomach, leaving just a hint of skin where it didn’t meet her shorts.
Annie’s eyes went wide, her gaze going straight to Mikasa’s chest before her brain could catch up with the fact that was rude. Maybe if she had coffee that morning instead of spilling it all over the place, she would have reacted more subtly.
Mikasa noticed her stare and self-consciously crossed her arms over her chest. “You know...laundry day.”
