Takenaka Hideo is a thirty-two year old, in mild desperation for money, who has just been hired as a new janitor for UA's support staff. He has a quirk that lets him find lost objects, a liaison with the police because of it, and desperate desire for competent co-workers.
Oh, and he's already lived a previous life, in a world where quirks and heroes didn't even exist.
Not a big deal, though. It's not like you ever see the janitor playing a big part in action movies. He's here to get paid, and that's it.
On the opposite side of the equation, class 1-A has to wonder at the new UA cryptid that always seems to show up when things are on fire, and who keeps trying to convince them to let the adults handle the fire extinguisher.
Ah, she thinks. This is what Aang meant when he was talking about reincarnation.
Toph Beifong is reincarnated into the Narutoverse, and she is taking nobody's shit.

Despite all the knowledge that he'd collected over the past few months, no one knew for certain where exactly the frozen comet containing the original sample of Redlight had come from, only that it was far past what even the best telescopes could see.
The living embodiment of the Blacklight virus had a sneaking suspicion as to its origins though.
He stood back and beheld his latest handiwork. On the wall were words written in human blood. It was something he'd come up with on his own and he was inordinately pleased with himself.
"They say that when you gaze into the Void, the Void also gazes back into you. What then, do you do, when you gaze into the Void, only to realize you've just been looking into a mirror the entire time?"
Below that was a blood-stained ID card that had been nailed to the wall using a sharpened human rib bone. 'Mercer, Alexander, J.' it said.
Not anymore I'm afraid. I'm something less than human, but also something more.
- Part 2 of The Monsters Among Us
When Ethan was fourteen, his world went up in flames. When he was fourteen, he took his mother's gun and escaped the city with a wagon of other survivors who knew better than to betray their names or faces to the smiling people in uniforms who claimed to be aid workers. He learned early that help is not always help, and that people are rarely who they claim to be, or even who they think they are.
He learned early not to let anyone else decide for him the difference between monsters willing and monsters made.
(Or, Ethan Winters, instinctive parent, Raccoon City survivor, and That Guy who the Gods just cannot seem to let die, does not kill the severely abused, mentally ill child bioweapon he finds in Louisiana. Instead, he takes her, and runs. To say this changes things is an understatement.)
Tsuna doesn’t think much of it when Nana tells him Papa is with the stars. His mom’s side of the family are all dead and Tsuna sees them every other month just fine. (A 3-part concept fic.)
Or, being considered dead doesn’t excuse you from familial duties.
Or, his student’s mother talks to herself and Reborn is concerned.
Or, once Nana was a girl called Yuzu.
