When Marinette's school takes part in a genealogy project that includes a DNA test she finds out that her parents aren't related to her. While annoyed that they never told her it doesn't change the fact that they are her parents and she's perfectly willing to let sleeping dogs lie.
Across the ocean however the news is creating a huge fuss as her biological father finds out he has another child he knew nothing about. To make matters even more complicated she's related to one of his adopted children as well. So how do you tell a 17 year old girl that you're her father? Easy, send the butler.
