    As much concern and affection as Wei Wuxian held for his family and friends, in both past and present, he held himself in very low regard. Lan Wangji had seen that self deprecation up close and personal, raw and ugly as memories of a life long passed bubbled to the surface in the late hours of the night, and they both knew that healing those wounds would take time. Fortunately for them, time was all they had.

    And really, if Wei Wuxian refused to remember to take care of himself, Lan Wangji would gladly do it for him.

    At some point, before Wei Wuxian left the Cloud Recesses, the disciples found themselves in a bit of a tight spot. They didn't expect the impromptu history lesson, however, nor did they expect to meet a cultivator from days long past.

    Based off the 1st Cardcaptor Sakura movie, although you don't need to watch it to understand. I just find the whole story with the Sorceress too aligned with MDZS not to adapt in some form. The title of this fic is based on one of the tracks in the Cardcaptor Sakura movie OST.

    When the Lanling Jin sect runs into financial trouble, a marriage between the third son, Mo Xuanyu, and the second jade of Lan, Lan Wangji is arranged. But before the two can even meet, Mo Xuanyu is kidnapped.

    Wei Wuxian has to pretend to be Mo Xuanyu, all while spending time with Lan Wangji, while Mo Xuanyu tries to find his way back home with the help of the street smart Xue Yang.

    None of them could have possibly foreseen the outcome.
