Summary
Jiang Yanli had always tried to be the glue which kept her family together and more or less functioning. It was hard but she never complained and carried the burden by herself. The only break she gets is when Wei Wuxian and Jiang Cheng go study to the Cloud Recesses.
When they come back however, it is another story. Jiang Yanli finds it impossible to go back to her previous role. How can she protect Wei Wuxian and at the same time preserve harmonious relationship among the whole family? There is just one solution she can think of.

Summary
During end of the year celebration, four normal friends are drinking together: Wei Wuxian, Lan Wangji, Jiang Cheng and Nie Huisang.
However, not everyone is enjoying the evening in the same way. Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji went into their own world just as Nie Huisang had planned. The only thing is, Jiang Cheng is only paying attention to them and not hearing a word of Nie Huisang's confession. There is no other way but to show him with concrete actions what exactly he had been talking about.Part of the New Year's verse series, can be read as a stand-alone fanfiction but I recommend reading the previous part of the series as well to get the full picture.

Summary
