Midoriya Izuku had it all; good grades, plenty of friends, and all the All Might memorabilia a kindergartner could want. But when he turned four, his world fell apart.
He thought that he would be a hero no matter what Quirk he got.
The world thought differently.

“You’re going to be a great hero some day.”
That is what the doctors had told him when his Quirk was officially diagnosed. For most, it is a simple throw away line used as common courtesy. Mainly to make them feel better if their Quirk was less spectacular than others.
Izuku Midoriya, however, is not most. When he was told he’d be a great hero, it wasn’t just to give him hope for some unattainable dream, or an utterance formed from a doctor’s verbal habits.
For Izuku, it was a promise.

"I can't" Izuku mutters, gripping at his knees with chubby toddler hands. "I don't have a quirk."
The man smiles, and his next words are the ones Midoriya had never realized he always needed to hear.
"You don't need a quirk."
Or: Hisashi Midoriya takes his son to a quirk counselor in the hopes that it gets his quirk to emerge, but it ends up taking his son's life a whole new direction.

“My thanks.” He says, smiling back. “What is your name, boy?”
“I’m Izuku! Izuku Midoriya, sir!” The boy replies, excited, looking up at him. And Toshinori looks into the unmoving washed out green, into milky white pupils visible behind the mess curly hair, and realizes.
The boy is blind.
The boy that he distinctly saw dodge a series of fairly quick attacks, light on his feet and clearly used to some kind of training, the boy that had thrown him the bottle at the perfect height and perfect speed, the boy that has easily collected his spilled groceries and orderly put them back into the little plastic bag—
The boy. Is blind.

(This description probably sucks. My first fanfic ever, give me a chance.)
All his life, Izuku had been ridiculed and bullied for two things; being born Quirkless, and his massive appetite (even though he never seamed to gain a pound.)
His life turns upside down when meets his idol, All Might, and is finally given the chance to become a hero. But is Izuku as Quirkless everyone thinks he is.
This is the story of how Izuku became the Hero who could shatter mountains and repair the most grievous injuries.

Midoriya Izuku is born with a quirk, and it is a terrible, burning thing that will not let him rest. It has stolen his ignorance, his innocence, and his safety. It has driven him to restless obsession. But he is still Midoriya Izuku, and he will be a hero, whether his quirk cooperates or not.
AKA: Izuku gets a quirk that's actually awesome except for the part where it keeps messing with his head, but he's not about to let that keep him down. Even if it means resorting to vigilantism.

When everyone starts living under the same roof, it becomes increasingly difficult to avoid certain feelings. Being loved by two people is hard, but "a hero can always get out of a tough situation."
When Izuku learns that Tsuyu and Ochako have both fallen in love with him, he will have to search his own feelings and find out... Is there even a way to go about this without anyone getting hurt?
short answer: No. But they'll work it out.
OR, Tsuyu and Ochako struggle to cope with their feelings for Izuku, who is completely oblivious. But what will happen when they realize this massive dork has a bigger heart than you'd expect?
