Summary
To say he was too old for this would be an understatement. Link has lost everyone, died more times then he can count, fought every monster at least twice, defeated Ganon twice, and now Hylia wants to send him on another damned adventure. Yeah, quick question. What, how and why the hell?
Do these other Links seriously expect him to go along with him?Basically: Wild meets the gang but he’s old now <3

Summary
“How much do you remember?”
Too much. Too little. Not enough, more than he should. What would he say? Yes, Link remembered her. Of course he did; Princess Zelda, descendant of the goddess, tied to the hero throughout their lifetimes by their shared bond to the triforce. He remembered her from a century ago and even longer. He remembered what she looked like at the dawn of time, the echoes of her laugh from aeons ago.
He remembered every single one of his past lives as the hero, and she had been in each one of them.
(A botw/linked universe au in which wild gains both his own memories and the memories of his past lives and uses those memories to break a curse, find a magical sword, talk to a deity, and give everyone else a hard time.)

The Chain has expanded their ranks by one member, and Link has a new name: Wild. But even with Wild on his way to learning the language of the other Heroes, he still has a long way to go, and their new ability to communicate opens the doors for a host of other problems. Ten thousand years is a long time, and what is “normal” changes.
Or, Wild and the Chain discover the differences in culture between them. Includes miscommunication and language exploration, sentient rocks, potion-making, memorials, old legends and much more.
