“Ladies you would not believe the arsehole I ran into, he told me to watch where I was going even though he fucking knocked me down.”
“Merlin,” Morgana said. But Merlin continued.
“Didn’t even help me up or anything so I told him to fuck off. Shame because he was attractive too.”
“Merlin!” Morgana repeated. “Merlin this is my brother Arthur, the arsehole you ran into.”
Merlin is not one to fall in love but when he does he falls hard. So when Merlin meets Arthur the last thing he expected at the end of the first Christmas dinner was to like the bloke. But over the next few years of Christmases Merlin finds it harder and harder not to fall for the prat.
Arthur is being even more prattish than usual, and when Merlin’s magic takes his words a bit too literally, Merlin ends up turning his king into a toad. And, according to Gaius (and one certain very large unhelpful flying lizard), he’s going to be stuck there until Merlin manages to find his One True Love and make them kiss!
Join Merlin as he attempts to match-make Arthur the Toad with Gwen, maidservants of questionable repute, some knights, and even a bandit or two- and, finally, comes to realize a long-denied secret of his heart.
Mostly fluff and humor, with a dollop of adventuring thrown in.
Merlin will feel Arthur tugging at him, always.
It’s Elyan’s birthday and a trip to the tavern is a must with the company of the knights, his king and a secret warlock. Little did they know that this was only the beginning of a new tradition between the most trusted Knights of the Round Table where secrets are revealed and a lot of things change… especially the relationship between new King Arthur and his manservant Merlin.

“He is my husband.” Merlin blurted out loudly.
“Exactly, I’m his..” Wait. Only now did Merlin’s words catch up to him.
“I’m not… what… why…” Arthur began to stutter but Merlin interrupted him hastily again.
“Yes exactly. My husband. As in… we like each other. You know… sexually. We are… ehm… married.” Merlin laughed nervously.
or, Arthur (not so) accidently follows Merlin to a secret magic celebration in the forrest. It turns out to be more fun than expected.
