  3. Summary

British tourist Brienne Tarth is abandoned by the side of the highway in northern New South Wales, Australia, a few days before Christmas with (what she thinks is) her luggage, after an argument with her travelling companion, Hyle Hunt. After walking back to the last little coastal township they passed by, she finds a coffee shop, and in it a man named Jaime, who may or may not be a barista, and may or may not be some sort of Hemsworth.

This is the story of their increasingly less coffee-filled adventures. Also, there’s an Aston Martin sportscar.

This was my JB Fix-it Ficlets series, but since 'Beloved' can in NO way be considered a ficlet, I've changed the title of the series.

It's still a fix-it universe where Jaime didn't leave Winterfell to go south to Cersei and instead got to have a future, after everything, with Brienne. And it's still fairly quiet and peaceful - except when it isn't - and still focused more on emotions and smaller moments, rather than events.

Once, they’d found some wild plums. She’d picked one and broken it open with her bare hands, exposing the pale, juicy inner flesh, and handed it to Jaime. He’d taken it from her fingers, biting into it, and the juice had run down his chin, sticky-sweet.

    Coach Lasso,

I can assure you that my transfer has nothing to do with your club's relegation, nor is there anything that Richmond has done in error. Rather, I have spoken with my editors and we’ve agreed that this is the most appropriate course of action.

I wish you all the best in the season.

"I assure you," River said, draping herself over the Master's back so she could nip at his earlobe, "the Doctor isn't involved in this in any way. And he definitely doesn't know I'm here, or he'd probably be here, too, trying to stop me from doing something he'd call 'foolish and dangerous.' Spoilsport."

    Summary

Peter Grant is a contestant on the 2016 series of The Great British Bake Off. Thomas Nightingale is its famously stoic, poker-faced judge. The nation’s running commentary is their background soundtrack as they flirt onscreen. It’s going to be a very long ten weeks.
