  2. Summary

British tourist Brienne Tarth is abandoned by the side of the highway in northern New South Wales, Australia, a few days before Christmas with (what she thinks is) her luggage, after an argument with her travelling companion, Hyle Hunt. After walking back to the last little coastal township they passed by, she finds a coffee shop, and in it a man named Jaime, who may or may not be a barista, and may or may not be some sort of Hemsworth.

This is the story of their increasingly less coffee-filled adventures. Also, there’s an Aston Martin sportscar.

This was my JB Fix-it Ficlets series, but since 'Beloved' can in NO way be considered a ficlet, I've changed the title of the series.

It's still a fix-it universe where Jaime didn't leave Winterfell to go south to Cersei and instead got to have a future, after everything, with Brienne. And it's still fairly quiet and peaceful - except when it isn't - and still focused more on emotions and smaller moments, rather than events.

I was planning to do more than two stories for JB week, but things got away from me.

I’m just keeping these here as their own series for my own reference. Both stories are part of my After Everything series, so if you want to read them in their broader context, try that series!

Welcome to the end of the world!

This is a mashup of a GOT modern AU and The Leftovers.

If you haven't seen the show, the premise is that out of the blue, 2 percent of the world population just vanished, never to be seen again. The show (which I highly recommend because it's incredible acting/writing/directing and it nails the ending) starts with Departure Day, then picks up three years later.

As I was writing it, I realized that I was working through my feelings on Season 8 in this story; if a story can be a fix-it and not a fix-it, I think this is it.

I poured my heart and soul into this piece, hope you enjoy it.

Update: My lovely cover designed by Ro_Nordmann!!!

Terrific and very funny Ben voice, narrating a very possible sequence of events following the end of Season 1.
