For this nonny prompt at the Imagine Tony and Bucky comm on Tumblr:
"Bonding is a natural thing that happens between compatible people. Person can have only one bond. When Tony wants to bond with his partner he finds out that he already has a bond. Now he has to find the person that he accidentally bonded with so many years ago when he was still a child."
The only thing Tony remembered for certain was how he'd felt: Joy, belonging and comfort like he'd never found before or since. For a couple minutes out of his entire misbegotten life, he'd known what it meant to be whole.
It was impossible to forget. It had ruined him. Every new friendship, every potential relationship, only offered the forlorn possibility that he might feel that way again. But he never did. And after forty-something years of looking, he didn't think he would.
He still woke up with tears on his face and an emptiness inside him like a black hole had swallowed his heart. But that didn't happen as often anymore. He could even manage not to think of his lost Half for whole hours at a time.
Most of the time, he was okay.

When Danny Williams visits New Jersey after the fall of S.H.I.E.L.D., the last thing he expects is to find a feral Sentinel curled up in the back seat of his car.
Wait, scratch that. The actual last thing Danny expects is for the feral Sentinel to be Bucky Barnes.
But Danny's a Guide, and Bucky is in deep distress, so of course Danny brings him home. The plan is for Danny to get Bucky back into his head, then back to his Guide, Captain America. Bucky will be safe, he and Steve Rogers can reaffirm their bond, Danny can go back to Hawaii and Danny's Steve can go back to throwing himself off things. Everyone will be where and with whom they belong, and they'll all live happily ever after. Easy.
There's just one problem: Danny Williams' life has never been easy.

It took a parking garage falling onto Steve's head to bring out the Sentinel in him. It took Steve coming online for Danny to be able to claim his place as a Guide. But things are never as easy as they appear to be.
- Part 2 of All it took was a parking garage
Danny's life takes a change in direction when at age sixteen he is deemed lacking as a Guide
- Part 1 of All it took was a parking garage
The body of a male omega is discovered on the island and when Five-0 are called in they are surprised to learn the man was a runaway from Newark, New Jersey last seen twenty years previously. Not only that, but he hadn't disappeared alone. As the case unfolds they suspect human trafficking and if so, the other omega who was with him when he ran could be in danger now.
Steve McGarrett is not fond of omega cases, or omegas in general - he doesn't know how to act around them. But this case throws him something new when he meets alpha-hating Danny Williams. Both of them are going to have to navigate situations they never expected nor wanted to find themselves in and that's before anyone mentions anything about 'bonding'...
