“Your life has been nothing but a descending spiral, hasn't it? A golden prince, a bloodthirsty animal, and now a trophy of war.”

\A series of vignettes and/or one-shots set in a post-CF timeline in which Edelgard married Dimitri out of spite.

    Summary

Felix is not eavesdropping on Sylvain and Dimitri’s conversation in the baths. He just happens to have gotten there first, sat in the furthest, steamiest corner of the sauna, and found himself trapped.

“Oh, Your Majesty,” Sylvain says. “You must be getting really desperate. All right. Big bro Sylvain will teach you his ways of seduction.”

Felix might die of mortification if the dehydration doesn’t get to him first.

Felix has long come to terms with the fact that Dimitri will someday marry a beautiful blond noblewoman and live in Goddess-blessed happiness with his beautiful blond children. He’s satisfied with being the King’s Right Hand. He’s not upset that Dimitri’s in love; he’s upset that Dimitri decided to consult other people about it.

Even more upsetting is that those other people turn out to be Fódlan’s least reliable bachelors: Lorenz, Ferdinand, and Sylvain.

Ferdinand's eyes are the same colour as the campfire, but they do not reflect it.

Dimitri finds that strange, and the strangeness makes Ferdinand comforting.

    Bookmarker's Notes

To Taste the Grass. FE. Dimitri/Ferdinand. Technically BL/AM canon compliant. Non-linear narrative. As the war moves on, stories are told, morals questioned, and two people who are both very different and very similar come together. Difficult to describe, but very well-written sort of Dimitri character study.

Can't Think of a World Without You. FE. Dimitri/Sylvain. Post-AM. Companion piece to When You Return, telling the same story from Dimitri's POV. When Sylvain is injured in a battle at the Sreng border, Dimitri struggles to come to terms with his feelings toward him, especially since he's convinced Sylvain couldn't possible return them and that this whole mess is his fault. Nice alternate view explaining what was going in the background of When You Return and gives more depth to Dimitri's actions.

    Bookmarker's Notes

The Past and The Present. FE. Dimitri/Claude, implied Lambert/Rodrigue. Time travel AU. During a training accident, Byleth uses Divine Pulse and accidently brings a young Lambert (as in, attending the academy) into the present. Dimitri isn't quite sure how to handle this. Hijinks ensue, especially since Lambert is a bit of a troll. Ultimately a little bittersweet.
