    A story about whistle-blowers and war-mongers.

A story about pyrite and cubic zirconia, about Dolos and Carnus.

(Sometimes, they are all the same thing.)

INFINITE: Ariadne's point of view. Focuses on Ariadne's involvement in breaking into Carnus' head to discover his secrets, and the subsequent fallout. Runs partially parallel to Transient. Now complete.
EARTHLY: Eames' point of view. Focuses on split timeline between Eames' time as an agent, meeting Arthur, and his attempts to rescue Carnus. Lots of backstory-Eames. Now complete.
TRANSIENT: Dom's point of view. Focuses on Dom and Mal's relationship, their involvement in the development of dream-share, and a running parallel of Infinite from his point of view, and Dom and Arthur's relationship. Now complete.
COSMIC: Arthur's point of view. Focuses on Arthur becoming Carnus, meeting Eames and how he became Arthur. Lots of backstory-Arthur. Unstarted.

  2. Summary

"Eames dies on a Thursday in Lithuania, two and a half years after the Fischer Job. For almost nine years, he and Arthur have danced the viper and mongoose together. Here lies the unfolding of grief, the reflections of regret, the joy in mortality, and the inescapable nature of being in love."

I wrote one story because I had an idea of what Arthur and Eames' last conversation would sound like. It grew exponentially. As far as I'm concerned, this story is complete. Maybe more will come, but I honestly doubt it. You'll understand why if you get to the end...

I've been told a lot of things about this series, but mostly that even people who don't like Major Character Death still kind of dig it. Which is great and makes a lot of sense, because I don't like MCD either and I wrote it. Maybe you'll like it too?
