Summary
Inspired by Robert Sean Leonard’s answer to this question in an interview.
“What exactly is the need that Wilson satisfies in House?”
To which he replied, “Why do all your questions sound vaguely dirty?”

Summary
He strolled into the cafeteria, and as expected found Wilson loading a sandwich and a salad bowl onto his tray. On spotting House, his eyes lit up, which he quickly covered by rolling his eyes and sighing.
“Ah the free lunch button is working well I see,” Wilson stated dryly.
“It’s not a button. I get this tingling in my heart whenever you buy food,” House responded, and observed with the satisfaction the spots of color on Wilson’s cheeks, and the way he averted his eyes, focusing on paying the bill for his food and the sandwich that House added to the tray.Bookmarked by LilyGAP10

“You know who House is married to” Chase stated irritated.
Of course, he did. ‘They’re me’ he thought. But then he had a terrible idea. One that reminded him why he and House were such a good pair.
The team finds out one morning that House is married and has been for 8 years!
They decide to make a friendly bet. What kind of woman is House married to?
Wilson wagers they won't find his wife.
what they don't know is Wilson is the person House is married to.AKA a crack fic for a 80% dead fandom because I love them.

(a companion piece for just enough of a bastard to be worth liking, set 10 years prior to that fic, but can be read as standalone.)
