The Doctor’s song was an offbeat four pulse of time and two hearts and he relied on his companions to provide the melody that defined him. Without a companion he would often seek out other songs and try to fix things without the melody to bring him home. Jack’s melody was so strong he often felt overwhelmed but sometimes that was just what he needed. The TARDIS always brought him home unless he was a complete idiot and sent her away.
Spike has moved into the Hyperion after getting his soul and sanity back. Angel failed to resist and then really ran with it when it became apparent his soul was fixed tight. The rest of the team are completely over the sight of the two vampires getting hot and heavy wherever they land, and nobody is willing to clean up afterwards.
The Rift, an intergalactic tom cat, a dead guy, a guy who won’t stay dead and his lover. It really should have been written by Python (no really, I couldn’t do the Python humour justice).
During an encounter with Captain John, Owen, Ianto and Jack are thrown through the Rift into an unknown world and some completely understandable misunderstandings happen.
Chaining Spike in a bathtub might not have been the best idea Giles had, or maybe it was…

Trapped in Illyria’s human/vampire terrarium Spike struggles with keeping Wesley and Willow safe and sane and unaware of their reality. At the same time he has to face the growing attraction between the three of them.
