Derek shared a bedroom with Spencer, which meant he would probably find out about the wall incident. Maybe he could deal with that eventually, but today, he would rather not try to explain why the anniversary of the worst day of his life caused him to punch a hole in his eight-year-old little brother's side of the room.

Emily put the paper towel down on the counter, tilted Jordan's face up towards her, and wiped away the remaining tears with her fingertips. "You deserve better." Her fingers continued to trace lines into Jordan's cheek, "You deserve to be adored and cared for." As Emily began to draw her hand away, Jordan grabbed onto it and held it against her cheek.
Emily looked into Jordan's eyes and saw the broken desperation for love that Emily was desperate to give. Jordan rubbed her thumb against the back of Emily's hand in slow circles, and Emily might just break at the feeling. "Show me," Jordan pleaded. Emily demonstrated.

The tears stung when they ran past the irritated handprint on Rapunzel's face. She tried her best to ignore them, but it was hard. She had never been slapped before.

If she paid close attention, every so often, the normally distorted and clouded magical barrier would shift so she could see through it better.
"I can't feed all of them otherwise, and it's not like I can't handle her smacking me around every once in a while." She could feel his breathing tense as his gentle stroking halted.
"And I can't handle her beatin' ya black and blue every time you smuggle them food."
The barrier returned to normal, and Uma averted her gaze from it and instead turned to look at Harry, prepared to have the same argument again, but all she could focus on were Harry's eyes that were a replica of the brilliant sea behind the barrier.

Upon checking out the victim’s apartment Reid and Morgan discover that their “victim” may not be dead, and in doing so may have accidentally scouted out the perfect next target. This is absolutely a crack fic.
