Steve woke up six months ago into a future that leaves him indifferent. There is work, and not much else. His current mission is a basic search and rescue operation to retrieve an American who was kidnapped by a terrorist group ten days ago. Tony would trade just about anything for the nightmare taking shape in front of him to be just that: a nightmare. He wished with every ounce of his being that this was something he could wake up from instead of the cold, hard reality staring at him with familiar blue eyes.

Tony has been abused before.
He’s just never had to smile into his abuser’s face and shake his hand in front of millions of spectators afterwards.
And Barnes watches, and there's something—understanding maybe, or respect, or even hatred. Tony can't be sure.
But he's curious, and that can only end in disaster.
or, where the Avengers get excused, and that's only the start of a whole load of trouble.

For nearly a year Captain Cold has been playing literal cops and robbers with the Flash, but the lightning-fast thief remains just out of the hero's grasp. The Flash loves to taunt and flirt with him, and turns everything between them into a challenge that's more fun than it should be. Secretly, Len enjoys the teasing far too much.
Then bodies start turning up around the city, and the evidence says a speedster is responsible. The game has turned deadly, and nothing will stop Len from protecting his city. Not even his own disappointment and sense of betrayal. He should have known better than to think there might be some good in an unrepentant criminal.
Barry knows the Flash isn't killing anyone, but he can't convince Snart without revealing his identity. The last thing he wants is to ruin his relationship with the man who is both hero and nemesis to him. Worse, the murders are chillingly similar to those committed by Barry's father, and the set-up feels like a personal attack on Barry and the Flash. He has to find the killer and prove his innocence before Cold hunts down the Flash, which means he's in a race against the one thing even he may not be fast enough to beat... time.
